Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload trucks efficiently.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and verify merchandise against purchase orders with high accuracy.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular stock counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance checks on warehouse equipment and report issues.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse floor organized and free of hazards to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and quality control.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to work varied shifts, including weekends.
- Equipment: Forklift certification is preferred but not required.
