Job Description
Architecting the Digital Reality of 2026.
At Zai Corporation, we are not just building software; we are architecting the digital reality of 2026. We are seeking a visionary Director of Future-Ready AI Systems to lead our next-generation Neural-Quantum integration initiatives. If you thrive on solving the unsolvable and defining the roadmap for the next decade of technology, this is your stage.
As a key leader in our specialized 2026 Niche division, you will bridge the gap between theoretical artificial general intelligence (AGI) and practical, scalable enterprise deployment. You will oversee a team of elite engineers working on predictive algorithms, autonomous agents, and quantum-enhanced data processing to prepare our infrastructure for the future.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic roadmap for AI systems designed to function in the 2026 technological landscape, integrating quantum supremacy principles into standard computing architectures.
- Architect and optimize Large Language Models (LLMs) specifically tailored for high-frequency, low-latency trading and autonomous logistics.
- Establish ethical frameworks and governance protocols for autonomous decision-making systems to ensure compliance with evolving global regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy "Edge AI" solutions that process data in real-time at the device level.
- Mentor senior engineering talent and define the technical culture for our San Francisco innovation hub.
Qualifications
- Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field with a focus on theoretical physics or mathematics.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in leading AI/ML engineering teams, with at least 3 years specifically focused on Generative AI and Neural Networks.
- Deep understanding of quantum computing concepts (Qiskit, Cirq) and their practical application to classical machine learning problems.
- Proven track record of deploying scalable systems handling petabytes of data with sub-millisecond latency.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders and investors.
