Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Vision: Develop and articulate a comprehensive 5-year strategic roadmap that aligns technical innovation with business objectives.
- R&D Leadership: Spearhead research initiatives in Generative AI, Quantum Readiness, and Edge Computing to ensure Apex Innovations is future-proof.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate complex technical strategies to the C-Suite and board members, translating roadmaps into actionable business value.
- Talent & Culture: Build and mentor a high-performing team of futurists and technologists focused on long-term growth.
- Market Analysis: Continuously monitor global tech trends, competitor movements, and regulatory changes to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
- Partnerships: Identify and establish strategic partnerships with key technology vendors and academic institutions.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 10+ years in technology leadership, with at least 5 years in a strategic planning or C-level advisory capacity.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Strategic Mindset: Proven track record of successfully launching and managing multi-million dollar innovation projects.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI/ML, Blockchain, IoT) and their commercial applications.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
- Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and pivot strategies based on market feedback.
