- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation strategy roadmap, aligning with long-term business objectives
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies, market shifts, and disruptive trends
- Collaborate with R&D, product, and engineering teams to integrate future-focused capabilities
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and board members with compelling data-driven narratives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry thought leaders
- Manage a $5M+ innovation portfolio with rigorous ROI tracking and risk mitigation protocols
- Mentor a team of 8-12 high-potential strategists and innovation specialists
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategy, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or corporate R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products or market-transforming initiatives
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in scenario planning and futures methodologies
- Experience managing cross-functional teams in matrix organizations
