Responsibilities
- Architect the 2026 innovation framework by analyzing emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions with $5M+ annual R&D budget
- Develop strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, NASA, and Fortune 100 innovation labs
- Present future scenarios to C-suite and board members with data-driven risk/reward analysis
- Drive adoption of horizon-scanning methodologies across 15 global R&D centers
- Mentor next-generation futurists through our Future Leaders program
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning or innovation leadership with Fortune 500/tech unicorn experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals (e.g., Futures Research Quarterly)
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (STELLA, Kumu) and predictive analytics platforms
- Track record of scaling innovations from concept to $100M+ revenue impact
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: Web3.0, AGI governance, or climate tech
- Security clearance preferred for federal collaboration opportunities
