Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) and assess commercial viability
- Develop 5-year strategic roadmaps aligning tech innovation with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into product roadmaps
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs for cutting-edge research
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board of directors
- Monitor global regulatory landscapes affecting emerging technologies
- Create innovation frameworks to evaluate and prioritize disruptive opportunities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Business Strategy, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic planning or innovation roles at tech companies
- Proven track record of forecasting market trends and translating to strategy
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional data analysis and scenario modeling capabilities
- Certified Futurist (CFP) or similar designation preferred
- Experience presenting to C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating future technology impact assessments
