As our Futurist Strategist, you'll lead cross-disciplinary initiatives, anticipate disruptive forces, and translate foresight into actionable business frameworks. You'll collaborate with C-suite executives, R&D labs, and global think tanks to pioneer solutions for climate resilience, AI ethics, and quantum-adjacent technologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026+ strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI) into commercial roadmaps
- Produce quarterly trend reports and disruption assessments for executive leadership
- Design and implement innovation sprints focused on 2026-relevant challenges (e.g., climate AI, neuro-interfaces)
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, government labs, and startups shaping 2026 technology paradigms
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies and ethical tech deployment
- Represent Nexus at global forums (World Economic Forum, Davos, Singularity Summit) as a thought leader
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology leadership
- Proven track record developing multi-year strategic frameworks for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, systems thinking, and scenario planning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of 2026-relevant domains: quantum computing, climate tech, AGI governance, bio-integration
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex futures into executive narratives
- PhD or advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or relevant technical field preferred
- Published author or keynote speaker at global innovation/technology conferences
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Trendalyzer, Cassandra, Delphi methods)
