Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and market shifts
- Develop 5-year strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with organizational vision
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions
- Present trend insights to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build competitive advantage through patent strategy and IP development
- Manage cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering/design teams
- Establish KPIs for future-readiness and track progress quarterly
Qualifications
- 8+ years in tech strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, AR/VR, quantum, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products/services
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision making
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight preferred
- Experience with patent analysis and competitive intelligence frameworks
- Strong stakeholder management with executive presence
- Master's degree in relevant field (MBA, MSc Engineering, etc.)
