Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling emerging tech solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough technologies with disruptive potential
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Present tech innovation strategies to investors and board stakeholders
- Drive R&D investments in quantum computing, biotech integration, and decentralized systems
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory landscapes affecting innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record launching at least two breakthrough tech products/services
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI ethics, or neurotech
- Executive-level experience in Fortune 500 or scale-up tech environments
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed tech journals or major industry forums
- Certification in Technology Foresight (e.g., from WFS or similar)
