Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology adoption roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Lead cross-functional workshops to evaluate emerging innovations' ROI and implementation feasibility
- Author strategic whitepapers and executive briefings on future tech impacts and opportunities
- Build relationships with academic institutions and startups to scout emerging talent and IP
- Design governance frameworks for ethical tech integration and responsible innovation
- Mentor R&D teams in future-proofing product architectures for 2026+ ecosystems
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven track record in emerging tech commercialization (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech specialization
- Expertise in technology forecasting methodologies and market analysis frameworks
- Strong executive communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFS, CFIP) or innovation management preferred
- Experience building tech ecosystems in regulated industries (healthcare, finance, energy)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-tech implementations
