Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 5-year technology strategy aligned with 2026 market forecasts and innovation roadmaps
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, bio-integrated systems, decentralized AI) and assess commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to prototype and validate next-gen solutions
- Build strategic partnerships with research institutions and emerging tech startups
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Establish KPIs to measure innovation pipeline maturity and ROI on R&D investments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech commercialization
- Proven track record in launching breakthrough products in quantum, AI, or biotech
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting frameworks (e.g., Delphi, Horizon scanning)
- Experience with venture capital or corporate innovation processes
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight preferred
- Published thought leadership on emerging tech disruption
