Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.) with 5-10 year commercial viability
- Develop strategic roadmaps for technology integration across product portfolios
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, engineering, and business teams
- Conduct competitive landscape analysis and patent opportunity assessments
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite executives
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Monitor regulatory and ethical implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation management
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep understanding of quantum computing, AI, or biotech domains
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data
- Experience building technology roadmaps and business cases
- Strong communication skills for executive presentations
- Published research or patents in relevant fields
