Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential by 2026
- Develop comprehensive innovation roadmaps integrating quantum computing, biotech convergence, and decentralized systems
- Partner with C-suite executives to align tech strategy with business objectives and market disruption
- Manage a portfolio of moonshot projects with $5M+ annual R&D budget
- Establish ethical frameworks for AI deployment and autonomous systems governance
- Represent company at global tech summits and shape industry standards
- Mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers, designers, and futurists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging tech R&D
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products (3+ examples)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or Web3 infrastructure
- Executive presence with ability to influence stakeholders at board level
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Innovation Management
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption (patents, journals, keynotes)
- Experience building and scaling global innovation teams
- Fluency in future methodologies (scenario planning, horizon scanning)
