Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology strategy aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints exploring quantum AI, biocomputing, and decentralized systems
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 3-7 year adoption windows
- Translate technical concepts into executive-level business cases and investor presentations
- Build and manage an ecosystem of academic partners and startup incubators
- Define ethical frameworks for emerging technologies and compliance standards
- Mentor senior engineers and product managers in future-proof development methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech domains
- Proven track record of launching products with 10+ year technological roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI governance, or sustainable tech
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Published thought leadership in IEEE, Nature Futures, or equivalent tier
- Experience securing $10M+ R&D budgets for long-term technology initiatives
- Deep understanding of global tech policy landscapes and regulatory frameworks
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex concepts to C-suite stakeholders
