Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology strategy aligned with market evolution and business objectives
- Identify emerging tech trends (quantum, AGI, bio-digital interfaces) and assess commercial viability
- Lead R&D initiatives for next-gen products with $10M+ innovation budget
- Partner with C-suite to align tech investments with organizational transformation goals
- Build and lead cross-functional teams of engineers, data scientists, and futurists
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Present technology roadmaps to investors and board members
- Ensure ethical implementation of advanced technologies including AI governance frameworks
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech leadership
- Proven track record scaling tech initiatives in Fortune 500 or unicorn environments
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI development, or biotech convergence
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent foresight methodology certification
- Experience managing R&D budgets exceeding $5M annually
- Prior success launching commercialized technologies with $100M+ revenue impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology
- Exceptional stakeholder management across technical and executive domains
