Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead innovation sprints exploring breakthrough technologies including quantum algorithms and neurotech applications
- Partner with engineering teams to prototype next-gen solutions in simulated 2026 environments
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape studies for emerging tech domains
- Present strategic briefings to investors and board members on technology disruption risks/opportunities
- Build and lead a specialized Future Tech incubation unit with $5M annual R&D budget
Qualifications
- 10+ years experience in technology strategy or corporate R&D leadership
- Proven track record in scaling disruptive technologies from concept to market
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, AI ethics, or biotech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research or patents in future technology domains (IEEE/AI journals preferred)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
