Responsibilities
- Architect and execute a 3-5 year technology innovation roadmap aligned with 2026 industry trends
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop KPI frameworks to measure technology adoption ROI and innovation maturity
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite stakeholders and external partners
- Manage an $8M+ innovation portfolio with P&L accountability
- Foster partnerships with academic institutions and venture capital firms
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product development, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging technology adoption (AI, IoT, blockchain, quantum)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with focus on innovation
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Expertise in agile development and rapid prototyping frameworks
- Certification in innovation management (e.g., PDMA, ICF) preferred
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
