Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, biocomputing) and assess commercial viability
- Develop strategic 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to prioritize R&D investments and innovation initiatives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and research labs for technology incubation
- Present technology foresight insights to investors, board members, and key stakeholders
- Build and lead a cross-functional innovation task force to prototype future-facing solutions
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts impacting technology adoption landscapes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management
- Proven track record of successfully launching future-focused technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience presenting to executive audiences and influencing high-stakes decisions
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism or innovation strategy
