Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps integrating quantum computing, AGI, and synthetic biology
- Lead scenario planning for global tech disruptions (regulatory, ethical, market)
- Establish strategic partnerships with frontier research institutions (MIT, CERN, etc.)
- Design human-centric technology governance frameworks for 2026+ adoption
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Mentor emerging technologists through our Innovation Accelerator program
- Monitor emerging tech signals (nanotech, fusion energy, etc.) for competitive advantage
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or Big Tech
- Deep expertise in at least two 2026-critical domains (quantum, AI, biotech, neurotech)
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech journals (MIT Tech Review, Nature AI)
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, Foresight Practitioner)
- Experience scaling global tech initiatives across 3+ continents
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Proficiency in strategic foresight tools (horizon scanning, Delphi method)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful tech disruption projects
