Responsibilities
- Scan horizon for emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, Web3) and assess commercial viability
- Design and execute 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Lead R&D initiatives in next-gen computing paradigms
- Collaborate with C-suite to integrate future tech into corporate strategy
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Present visionary insights to executive stakeholders and investors
- Develop patent portfolios for breakthrough technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging tech commercialization
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies
- Experience managing cross-disciplinary innovation teams
- Strategic foresight certification preferred
