Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration)
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate futuristic solutions
- Analyze global tech trends to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026+ markets
- Partner with C-suite executives to align technology strategy with business vision
- Secure $10M+ in R&D funding through compelling proposals and stakeholder presentations
- Establish industry partnerships with leading research institutions and tech pioneers
- Mentor innovation teams on future-proofing methodologies and ethical tech frameworks
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech leadership
- Proven track record of scaling tech ventures to $100M+ valuations
- Expertise in at least three emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized systems
- PhD in relevant field or equivalent demonstrable innovation portfolio
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech publications (MIT Tech Review, Nature, etc.)
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants for future-tech initiatives
- Fluency in at least two programming languages and system architecture design
- Global network of tech innovators and venture capitalists
