Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap, integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech innovations
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and scale breakthrough technologies with 18-month commercialization cycles
- Establish strategic partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and global tech ecosystems to accelerate innovation
- Secure and manage $10M+ annual innovation budget across R&D initiatives
- Present technology forecasts and impact assessments to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Drive ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation standards
- Mentor a team of 15+ researchers and engineers in future technologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in executive leadership roles
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with published research in AI/quantum
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies ($50M+ impact)
- Deep expertise in at least two domains: AI ethics, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Experience securing federal grants and venture capital for R&D initiatives
- Exceptional strategic thinking with ability to forecast tech disruptions
- Published thought leadership in Harvard Business Review or Nature
