Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology foresight strategy, identifying disruptive innovations with 5-10 year impact horizons
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions across AI, quantum computing, and synthetic biology domains
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government labs, and Fortune 500 innovation hubs
- Translate complex technological concepts into actionable business roadmaps with ROI projections
- Present strategic vision to C-suite executives and board members, securing funding for moonshot projects
- Mentor junior futurists in emerging technology forecasting methodologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology planning, with demonstrable impact on future-focused initiatives
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech)
- Proven track record of launching technologies with $100M+ market impact
- PhD in relevant field or equivalent experience with peer-reviewed publications
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex socio-technical ecosystems
- Experience securing federal grants and DARPA-style funding for advanced R&D
- Portfolio of published technology forecasts with >80% accuracy rate
