Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning for 2026+ technology roadmaps including quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, and biotech convergence
- Drive cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and venture capital teams
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis in emerging tech domains
- Develop patentable frameworks for next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Present strategic vision to C-suite and board of directors with data-backed projections
- Manage $5M+ R&D budget for experimental technology initiatives
- Mentor a team of 8+ futurist researchers and technical architects
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech leadership
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or equivalent technical domain
- Published research in Nature/Science or top-tier AI/quantum conferences
- Proven track record of launching 3+ breakthrough technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, synthetic biology, or AGI safety
- Executive-level stakeholder management across global enterprises
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum computing frameworks
- Active portfolio of patents or peer-reviewed publications
