Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives for 2026+ technology adoption
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, AI, biotech) for commercial viability
- Develop 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with UN SDGs
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D funding through strategic partnerships
- Mentor a team of 15+ futurists and engineers
- Present disruptive tech forecasts to C-suite and board members
- Drive patent portfolio expansion in core innovation domains
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Physics
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks for AI/biotech
- Published thought leadership in IEEE or Nature journals
- Experience securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF)
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python preferred)
- Global network of tech ecosystem stakeholders
