Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts and business objectives
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, spatial web) and assess commercial viability
- Architect scalable innovation frameworks that bridge current capabilities with future state requirements
- Drive strategic partnerships with research institutions and venture capital firms for early-stage technology adoption
- Present executive-level technology briefings with ROI projections and implementation blueprints
- Establish governance protocols for ethical technology deployment and risk mitigation
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-focused thinking and rapid prototyping methodologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 or unicorn startup experience
- Proven track record of launching market-defining technologies with measurable business impact
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI/ML, blockchain, AR/VR, biotech, or quantum computing)
- Executive presence with ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling business narratives
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; PhD preferred
