Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams to pilot emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, AI autonomy)
- Conduct scenario planning for disruptive technologies and their industry impacts
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Present technology visions to stakeholders and secure executive buy-in
- Monitor global tech policy developments and advocate for innovation-friendly frameworks
- Build and mentor a high-performing future-tech incubation team
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech product development
- Proven track record of launching at least two transformative technology initiatives
- Expertise in at least three emerging domains: quantum computing, biotech convergence, or AI ethics
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech focus
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Experience securing $10M+ budgets for strategic technology projects
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism (papers, patents, or keynotes)
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and tech forecasting frameworks
