Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional teams in identifying and evaluating emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, biotech interfaces)
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across tech, regulatory, and sociopolitical domains
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Establish innovation partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Oversee pilot programs for breakthrough technologies with potential 2026 commercialization
- Monitor global tech policy developments and assess strategic implications
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Technology Strategy, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or unicorn-scale tech companies
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional analytical skills with data-driven decision-making expertise
- Experience presenting to executive leadership and external stakeholders
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight (e.g., CFTe)
- Portfolio demonstrating published research or white papers on 2026+ technology trends
