Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy aligned with market disruption vectors
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum, AR/VR, bioinformatics) and assess commercial viability
- Architect innovation pipelines integrating AI, blockchain, and sustainable tech frameworks
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions with 5-10 year impact
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite and board with data-driven investment recommendations
- Mentor technology teams in future-proofing methodologies and adaptive innovation
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory shifts affecting tech adoption landscapes
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology roles with documented 2020-2025 foresight success
- Expertise in exponential technologies (quantum, AGI, neuromorphic computing)
- Proven ability to translate technical concepts into board-level strategic narratives
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published research on technology adoption curves or disruptive innovation
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from APF or Foresight University)
- Experience scaling tech roadmaps from concept to $100M+ revenue impact
