Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ technology roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration) for strategic opportunities
- Lead innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions in our R&D lab
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Oversee budget allocation for emerging tech initiatives
- Mentor a team of future-focused researchers and engineers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ in emerging tech
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, blockchain, or synthetic biology
- Proven track record of launching commercialized tech innovations
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Published research or patents in emerging technology fields
- Certification in technology strategy or innovation management preferred
