Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ technology roadmap aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead R&D initiatives in emerging fields (quantum AI, biocomputing, decentralized systems)
- Partner with product teams to translate future tech concepts into scalable solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning for disruptive tech impacts
- Present technology vision to executive stakeholders and investors
- Mentor cross-functional teams on future tech adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record in launching next-gen products (AI/quantum/biotech focus)
- Deep expertise in at least two future tech domains (e.g., neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong business acumen with ability to align tech initiatives with revenue goals
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in future tech or innovation strategy
