Responsibilities
- Lead strategic technology roadmaps for 2026+ innovations in AI, quantum, and biotech sectors
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with $1B+ market potential
- Develop cross-functional implementation plans with engineering and product teams
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite and board members quarterly
- Manage partnerships with top-tier research institutions (MIT, Stanford, ETH Zurich)
- Conduct competitive analysis and threat modeling for emerging tech landscapes
- Mentor junior strategists in technology foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: AI, quantum, AR/VR, or synthetic biology
- Published research or patents in future technologies preferred
- Experience scaling tech initiatives from concept to global deployment
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in technology forecasting frameworks (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- Track record of securing $10M+ in R&D funding or partnerships
- Fluency in English with additional technical language a plus
