Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive 2026 technology strategy aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and scale emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and competitive threats
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board of directors
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Manage $10M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Drive organizational adoption of future-ready technologies through change management
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough technologies with measurable business impact
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Executive-level presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with focus on technology
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- PMP, CTO, or equivalent strategic certification preferred
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation or industry disruption
