Responsibilities
- Architect and execute 5-year technology strategy aligning with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum AI, biocomputing, neural interfaces)
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Develop patent-worthy innovation frameworks and IP protection strategies
- Present strategic vision to investors, board members, and industry consortiums
- Drive partnerships with academic labs and government innovation programs
- Establish KPIs for tech adoption ROI and ethical implementation metrics
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic tech leadership with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- Proven track record of launching market-defining tech products/services
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, neuromorphic chips, or climate tech
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurist Studies
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Nature or similar tier-1 journals
- Experience securing $10M+ in innovation grants or venture funding
- Certification in Technology Foresight (e.g., from WFS or APF)
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks for emerging tech (FDA, FCC, etc.)
