- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy, aligning with long-term business objectives
- Lead research and analysis of emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, AR/VR)
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate future tech into core business operations
- Manage cross-functional innovation projects with $5M+ annual budgets
- Build strategic partnerships with leading tech labs, universities, and startups
- Present technology roadmaps to investors and board members
- Mentor a team of 8-12 technology strategists and researchers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough tech initiatives
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, blockchain, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience managing R&D budgets exceeding $3M annually
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Published thought leadership in technology strategy or innovation
- Certification in technology foresight or strategic planning preferred
