Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 5-year technology strategy aligned with 2026 market projections
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuro interfaces, AI ethics)
- Lead competitive analysis and patent landscape reviews for future tech domains
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage innovation incubator programs for experimental technologies
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption and ROI measurement
- Coordinate with R&D teams to validate technical feasibility of strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record in emerging technology commercialization
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (e.g., AGI, biotech, space tech)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
- Experience with patent analysis and intellectual property strategy
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation journals
- MBA or advanced degree in Engineering/Computer Science/Strategic Studies
