Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap, aligning with business objectives and market trends
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) with disruptive potential
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future visions into actionable innovation initiatives
- Establish KPI frameworks to measure technology adoption ROI and strategic alignment
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Present strategic recommendations to the board and executive leadership
- Manage technology portfolio prioritization and resource allocation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in C-suite or director-level roles
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (e.g., AI, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting methodologies and scenario planning
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Strong presentation skills with experience influencing executive stakeholders
- Certification in technology management or strategic planning (preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating past technology transformation initiatives
