Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, quantum computing, climate tech) and their impact on industry verticals by 2026
- Develop scenario-planning models for 5-10 year horizon with probabilistic outcomes
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify innovation opportunities aligned with future market needs
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports with strategic recommendations for executive leadership
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market readiness
- Establish KPIs for future-readiness metrics and track progress against strategic foresight goals
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven experience developing future scenarios and strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, biotech, blockchain, quantum)
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills for complex future narratives
- Published thought leadership on future trends or disruption (articles, books, whitepapers)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures methodologies preferred
