Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation strategy aligned with global market trends and emerging technologies
- Lead high-impact R&D initiatives in AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology convergence
- Forge strategic partnerships with academia, government, and industry disruptors
- Present futuristic vision to C-suite and board members to secure funding and buy-in
- Mentor a multidisciplinary team of futurists, engineers, and strategists
- Publish thought leadership in top-tier industry journals and conferences
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive threats and opportunities
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products with $100M+ impact
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Published author in futurism or technology forecasting
- Certification in Futures Methodology (e.g., CFIP preferred)
- Experience scaling innovation labs in Fortune 500 environments
