Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to identify emerging technologies and market trends through 2026
- Develop and implement scenario-planning frameworks for disruptive innovation opportunities
- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate future-vision concepts into actionable product roadmaps
- Present foresight insights to C-suite executives and board members to inform high-stakes decisions
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks to pioneer next-generation research
- Design and execute innovation sprints focused on exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Mentor junior strategists in future-thinking methodologies and trend analysis
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, futures research, or technology foresight roles
- Proven track record of launching products/services based on trend analysis (portfolio required)
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and exponential technology assessment
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting complex futures to executive audiences
- Published research or thought leadership in innovation journals (e.g., Futures Research Quarterly)
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis, system dynamics modeling)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-strategy implementations
