- Develop data-driven innovation roadmaps aligning with long-term business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable product plans
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate next-gen solutions
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and external stakeholders with compelling narratives
- Build and manage an ecosystem of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Quantify potential market impacts and ROI for emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, innovation, or futurist roles at Fortune 500 tech firms
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Deep expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and foresight methodologies
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex future visions
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption (whitepapers, patents, keynotes)
- Experience scaling innovation labs and managing $10M+ R&D budgets
- Mastery of strategic frameworks (e.g., STEEP, Delphi, Technology Radar)
