Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological inflection points, and socio-economic indicators to develop 5-10 year foresight frameworks
- Design innovation roadmaps and strategic blueprints for clients in AI, biotech, climate tech, and emerging markets
- Lead scenario planning workshops with executive stakeholders to stress-test business strategies against future uncertainties
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and visualizations that translate complex futures into actionable insights
- Partner with R&D teams to identify breakthrough opportunities and de-risk innovation portfolios
- Represent Horizon Insights at global forums and publish thought leadership on future-of-work paradigm shifts
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, Innovation Management, or equivalent field with 8+ years of strategic foresight experience
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-ready strategies for Fortune 500 clients
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
- Mastery of scenario planning methodologies, trend analysis, and horizon scanning frameworks
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex futures for diverse executive audiences
- Experience leading cross-functional innovation teams and managing high-stakes stakeholder engagements
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented future-proofing initiatives
