Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends, regulatory shifts, and socioeconomic indicators to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop cross-impact roadmaps for AI integration, climate resilience tech, and human augmentation systems
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with executive stakeholders to stress-test innovation hypotheses
- Build strategic partnerships with academic labs and startups in frontier technology ecosystems
- Translate complex futures insights into executable R&D priorities and product roadmaps
- Present strategic foresight frameworks to investors and board members with compelling narratives
- Lead a small team of futurists and innovation analysts
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic innovation, consulting, or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized products or services
- Deep expertise in at least three of: AI ethics, quantum computing, synthetic biology, climate tech
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism journals or industry whitepapers
- Certification in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., CFAP, CFS)
