As a thought leader in our Innovation Ecosystem, you'll collaborate with quantum computing researchers, neurotech pioneers, and climate AI specialists to incubate breakthrough solutions. You'll translate foresight into actionable strategy while mentoring a multidisciplinary team of futurists and design anthropologists.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 Technology Horizon Scanning framework, identifying disruptive trends across biotech, AI ethics, and spatial computing
- Architect 'Future Labs' - immersive innovation spaces simulating 2026 societal and technological scenarios
- Lead cross-functional 'Futures Councils' with C-suite executives to align strategic roadmaps
- Produce annual 'State of 2026' forecast reports for Fortune 500 partners
- Design and facilitate foresight workshops with global stakeholders from MIT to WHO
- Mentor a 12-person Futures Research team using speculative design methodologies
- Establish KPIs for innovation maturity measuring organizational readiness for 2026 paradigms
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or futures research with Fortune 500 exposure
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or Cognitive Science
- Proven track record translating foresight into commercialized products/services
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (quantum, AGI, neuro interfaces)
- Published thought leader in peer-reviewed foresight journals or TEDx speaker
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFMP from APF)
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ successfully implemented 5+ year innovation horizons
- Experience with scenario planning tools like Kumu.io or Palantir Foundry
