- Analyze global tech trends and market disruptors to inform strategic decisions
- Design scenario-planning models for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces)
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present strategic vision to stakeholders and executive leadership
- Drive adoption of agile methodologies for long-term innovation cycles
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning or futurist roles within tech/biotech sectors
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Strong data visualization and scenario modeling capabilities
- Certification in Futures Research (e.g., WFS, APF) preferred
- Experience with Horizon Scanning and Delphi methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for executive-level presentations
