Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate tech) and map their cascading impacts on industries
- Develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps for clients using scenario planning and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed foresight into product development and innovation pipelines
- Author white papers and thought leadership frameworks published in top-tier journals
- Design and maintain proprietary trend intelligence dashboards using predictive analytics
- Partner with venture capital arms to identify emerging startups and acquisition targets
- Present strategic briefings to executive boards with data-driven recommendations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (Harvard Business Review, MIT Sloan, etc.)
- Expertise in scenario planning methodologies (e.g., Schwartz, van der Heijden)
- Proficiency with trend analysis tools (e.g., Trend Hunter, Gartner Hype Cycle, Palisade)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial strategy
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex futures to diverse audiences
