Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Develop and publish annual 2026+ technology foresight reports for executive stakeholders
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops to ideate future business models and products
- Create strategic roadmaps integrating exponential technologies into core business operations
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate future-focused initiatives
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor cross-functional teams on future literacy and strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism roles
- Proven track record of translating future trends into executable business strategies
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level communication abilities
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP, APF preferred)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (articles, white papers)
- Experience leading global teams in matrixed organizations
