Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze global technological, economic, and societal shifts through horizon scanning and trend synthesis
- Develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps integrating AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable technologies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed foresight into product development and corporate strategy
- Produce high-impact scenario plans and risk assessments for emerging disruption vectors
- Establish thought leadership through white papers, keynote presentations, and industry forums
- Mentor innovation teams in applying foresight methodologies to daily operations
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and academic partners
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 7 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial outcomes
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology
- Exceptional systems thinking and pattern recognition abilities
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi Method)
- Portfolio demonstrating trend analysis and strategic roadmaps for 2026+ horizons
