Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic foresight frameworks for 2026+ market evolution and disruption
- Lead scenario planning initiatives identifying risks/opportunities in quantum computing, biotech convergence, and climate adaptation
- Partner with C-suite executives to embed future intelligence into product roadmaps and investment decisions
- Author annual 'Future State' reports distributed to Fortune 500 boards and UN policy forums
- Design and facilitate innovation sprints with cross-functional teams to prototype next-generation solutions
- Establish global thought leadership through white papers, TEDx talks, and industry conference keynotes
- Mentor junior futurists in advanced methodologies like Delphi analysis and horizon scanning
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or equivalent strategic foresight certification
- 7+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or trend analysis with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in exponential technology forecasting (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Portfolio demonstrating scenario planning deliverables for complex global systems
- Exceptional command of futures research methodologies (SWOT, STEEP, PESTLE)
- Experience influencing board-level decisions through data-driven future narratives
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futurist journals or top-tier business media
