Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year innovation strategies aligned with 2026 technological and societal forecasts
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and market disruptions to identify competitive opportunities
- Lead scenario planning workshops for executive leadership, presenting data-driven future-state projections
- Collaborate with R&D, product, and marketing teams to integrate foresight into product roadmaps
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership publications on innovation trends and future market landscapes
- Drive organizational culture shifts toward adaptive innovation and long-term vision
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Innovation Management, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, futurism, or technology consulting with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized products or market expansions
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario modeling, and strategic foresight methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech ecosystems (AI, Web3, climate tech, etc.) and regulatory landscapes
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience to C-suite audiences and boards
- Published author or speaker at global innovation/futurism conferences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 5-10 year strategic planning implementations
